PORTABLE FIRE PUMP 275 LPM

GENERAL

• SPECIFICATION OF ITEM: AS PER IS 942 – 1982 (REAFFIRMED 2005) Light Weight Heavy Duty Portable
Fire Pump for the purpose of fire fighting / rescue operations. Exhaust priming centrifugal pump with dual
carrying handles capable of discharging water at least at rate of 275 LPM, having a pumping capacity of not
less than 4 Kgs/cm².
• Pump shall be capable of lifting the water from 3 meter in not more than 1 min and shall be fully automatic.
The pump should have efficient cooling system to permit the pump to run continuously for Two hours
Twin starter type (self-starter and manual Rope starter). Easy to start by one person.

• Casting: Anodized Aluminum.
• Impeller: Aluminum Impeller. Engine’s vertical shaft serves as pump shaft, protected against corrosion by a
bronze sleeve.
• Suction Inlet 75mm.
• Rated output not less than 275 Lpm @ 4 Kgs/cm².
• Primer: Exhaust Ejector.
• Twin starter type (self-starter and manual Rope starter)

ENGINE SPECIFICATION.

• Recoil starter with handle as well as self-start also.
• Water resistant, solid state Ignition.
• Engine should be marked with manufacture serial number.
• Unleaded Diesel Operated.
• Minimum 1 year’s parts and service warranty (comprehensive).
• Compression release valve for easier starts.

FUEL TANK

Capacity and performance appropriate for continuous run for at least 2 hours.
FRAME WORK.
• It shall be of a cradle design made of tubular steel and provided with anti-vibration coils / pads.
• Hand throttle.
• Pressure gauge calibrated from 0 to 10kgf/ cm2.
• Compound Gauge with pressure calibrated from 0 to 6 kgf/cm2 in black &vacuum 0 to 75cms of mercury in
red.
